Android Running on iPhone with OpeniBoot

You may vaguely remember us telling you about OpeniBoot sometime ago, well, planetbeing has done a significant amount of progress since then, quietly, of course, till now. He’s managed to get Android running on a first-generation iPhone (EDGE/2G).

Hopefully with all this groundwork laid out, we can make Android a real alternative or supplement for iPhone users. Maybe we can finally get Flash. ;)

Apparently, it currently only works on the first-gen EDGE/2G iPhone but planetbeing says it should be a simple port to the iPhone 3G — However, it’ll take more work to port to the iPhone 3GS

If you have a first-gen iPhone and you wish you had Android or want the best of both worlds, this is for you — especially if you want Flash on iPhone!
